Luego de que se emitieran varios reportes sobre Stafford, finalmente el quarterback de 32 años jugará la próxima campaña con los Rams.
En la campaña 2020 vistiendo el uniforme de los Lions, Matthew Stafford terminó con 4.084 yardas, con 26 touchdowns y 10 intercepciones.
